After completing a Master’s in Political Science at the Université de Montréal, Sandrine Milante left the university sector in 2000 to join the family business Plastilec, a company that specializes in plastic injection moulding. As its director of operations for many years, her expertise in Quebec’s manufacturing sector is greatly respected. Given her enthusiasm for entrepreneurial endeavours, Sandrine Milante became Plastilec’s Executive Director in 2008 and focused her development efforts on finding sustainable and responsible solutions in the packaging industry.
The creation of EcoloPharm was born from sustainable development research. As the President of EcoloPharm since 2010, Sandrine Milante carries forth the mission to do things better and differently in the field of medical packaging. Sandrine Milante’s uncommon path was especially influenced by her capacity to question and challenge established norms. She never settled for answers like “that’s how it’s always been.” For many years, Sandrine Milante’s commitment to sustainable development has been widely recognized.
